Q. Can I pay the course in instalments?
A. Yes you can pay for the course in instalments but the course must be paid in Full before you attend the Salon to start the practical.
Q. How much do i have to pay to enable me to start my theory?
A. Once you pay your deposit which is non refundable you will be sent out your Theory to start the course.
Q. How much is the Deposit?
A. The Deposit depends on which course you take.
Q. What if I change my mind and I don’t want to do the course?
A. Please take your time before booking a course as there is no refunds. To be sure Dog grooming is for you do a Taster Day first.
Q. Is there funding for this course and do you accept funding?
A. Yes we do accept funding but each individual will have to source their own funding as everyones circumstances are different.
Q. When can I Start the Course?
A. Once all Theory is complete, we will have a conversation on when you want to come into the salon and if I can accommodate those dates. so basically at a mutually agreed time.
Q. When is my final balance due to be paid?
A. Your final balance is due once we have mutually agreed on dates to start the course. Once dates are in the diary they are final.
Q. Do I have to do the full course all at once?
A. No all you are asked to do is the first 2 weeks together. Then you can split the course up into weeks or days. But, these weeks and days must be mutually agreed at the time of booking.
Q. Do I need to have my own grooming tools?
A. Yes all students have to have their own kit. Everything that is in the kit is to be able to groom every coat type. This Pampers Kit can be purchased from Groomers World, via link supplied by us.
Q. Do you run the courses all year or is there pacific start dates?
A. The salon closes for holidays one week in April. August and 2 weeks at Christmas and New Year. Courses run throughout the year except on these dates.
Q. How will I know if I like Dog Grooming or not?
A. Before you decide if dog grooming as a career is for you do a Taster Day, this will give you a real feel whats its like as a groomer, the only thing you will not be allowed to do is cut the dogs using scissors or clippers. Also do your research and make sure you choose the right salon for yourself. This is why we encourage taster days you get a real feel for not only what it’s like being a groomer you also get the chance to see how the salon is run and to meet ourselves and other students before you take that final step.
